Hawks Hollow

We were called in to help imagine a concept for this family space in the basement of a custom home on a beautiful wooded property. Successful design is often a result of trust and collaboration - in this case both with homeowners who trusted us with a moody dark vibe and also with a builder who brought his own talent and ideas to the party. The signature use of genuine, living materials (that gorgeous stone fireplace, the weathered wood throughout) helped represent the husband’s desire for a rustic masculine space while more refined trim elements, mirrored tile, soft textiles spoke to the wife’s hope for some polish.
